SuperMirror for Windows

Use your Android tablet as a display for your Windows PC. Mirror your screen or use the tablet as a second screen.

The Windows version is not out yet. It comes with SuperMirror 3.0.0. It will mirror over USB. WiFi mirroring will be off by default at launch.

When it ships

The steps below are for the first Windows release. They do not apply yet.

What you will need

Windows 10 (22H2) or Windows 11.
A 64-bit Intel or AMD PC. ARM64 PCs are not supported.
An Android tablet with USB debugging enabled.
A USB data cable.

What the installer will do

The app will install for your Windows user account without an admin prompt.

The installer will also include the Virtual Display Driver for the second screen. The driver is signed by its own authors.

“Install the Virtual Display Driver” will be selected by default. Installing the driver needs a separate admin prompt for Windows PowerShell.

You can skip the driver and use screen mirroring. Run the installer again to add the driver later.

The SmartScreen message

The first Windows release will have unsigned .exe files. So Microsoft Defender SmartScreen will show “Windows protected your PC”, because Windows does not know the publisher yet.

Code signing follows in a 3.0.x update. Before you run the installer, check its SHA-256 against the value on this page.

In the “Windows protected your PC” message, click More info.
Click Run anyway.

Check the SHA-256

SHA-256 for this installer:

Open PowerShell. Replace the path below with the full path to your downloaded installer, then run the command.

Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 -LiteralPath "C:\path\to\installer.exe"

Compare the Hash value with the SHA-256 shown here. Letter case does not matter. A match means the file matches this release.

If the values differ, do not run the installer. Download it again or contact support.
