Keep awake needs SuperMirror allowed in the background

SuperMirror needs background permission to keep your Mac awake with the lid closed.

Try these in order

  1. Open Login Items

    In SuperMirror, click Open Login Items. Or open System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions. On some macOS versions, the page is called Login Items.

  2. Allow SuperMirror in the background

    Find SuperMirror under Allow in the Background and turn it on. Approve the macOS prompt if asked.

  3. Return to SuperMirror

    Check that the permission message clears. Then enable Clamshell mode and check the tablet with the lid open first.
